,Established in 2004, Quirch Foods Atlanta services all major markets in the Southeastern U.S. Our operation in Atlanta features next-day DSD service, and consolidates orders for shipment to retailer and distributor warehouses throughout the nation. Deliveries are available Monday through Friday.

In 2014 we opened our distribution center located in Illinois to allow us to reach more customers, enhancing our distribution service.

Our roots in Puerto Rico market go back to the early 1960’s, when we operated as Oriente Comercial and made deliveries using an old ambulance converted into a delivery “truck.” Quirch Foods Puerto Rico was officially incorporated in 2000 and today operates one of the largest refrigerated distribution centers in the Caribbean. From this distribution center in San Juan, we service all of the major supermarkets on the island –most of them independent grocers.

In 2020 we opened our sixth distribution center in Greensboro, North Carolina. The expansion was an essential component to the growth of the company as we seek to continue expanding and leveraging our distribution reach. The addition of this warehouse facility extends the company’s reach and ability to service independent and national supermarkets in and around the Carolinas and northward.

In May of 2020, Quirch Foods® acquired Tennessee based Butts Foods, an industry leader in fresh protein distribution since 1935. Combining these two organizations will offer our customers a better distribution network, the ability to tap more powerful purchasing capabilities, while we continue to deliver the same great attention to customer service that both Quirch Foods and Butts Foods have been offering for decades.

Our distinguished Export Division is a major exporter of meat, seafood, and other perishable foods to the markets of the Caribbean, Central & South America, and Europe.

Using disposable bulkheads in refrigerated containers, we make the consolidation and mixed loading of food (refrigerated and frozen) easy. This allows our customers to order smaller quantities more frequently, a definite advantage when working with perishable food.

Our alliance with Helmsman Freight Solutions allows us to readily offer all the necessary documentation to our overseas customers, and keeps them informed of the status of their shipments.
